This Is My Last Resort (Papa Roach)

I've been listening to Papa Roach for a number of years now. Specifically the song, "Last Resort" which was my introduction to this hard rock band. They certainly are close to my heavy threshold, but their intense energy and solid guitar riffs make them a satisfactory listen. And their song openings are insane!

The new album "Metamorphosis" grows on you as you listen to it, but with the exception of "I almost told you that I loved you" it lacks a certain dynamism. The lyrics almost fade away rather than being indelibly etched on your mind like "Last Resort".

"Suffocation! No Breathing! Don't give a F.ck if I cut myself bleeding" Thats a really difficult line to forget.

Anyway they're playing Brixton Academy on October 10. So if you're in the mood to throw down 17 quid 50 (quite good value IMHO) and enjoy a night of hard rock Do It!
